Welcome to
Mystical Rose Midwifery
Offering holistic maternity care rooted in
evidence, intuition, and a belief in the sacredness of birth.
Why hire a midwife?
Studies show that birth at home with a midwife is just as safe as a hospital birth - with the added benefit of a hands off approach, autonomy in your birth space, and the comfort of your own home.
Imagine midwifery care that looks like this.
Hour long prenatal visits
Nutrition, hydration, and exercise discussions to promote health and minimize complications
True informed consent about your options - backed by up-to-date evidence
Active listening to find individualized solutions that work for your family
Honoring the sacredness and intimacy of the birth space with as few interruptions as necessary to safeguard mother and child
Attentive care for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of families - because birth is not just a physical event, but a life-changing reality.
If this sounds like a dream come true, we may be the place for you.
Meet the midwife - Chloe Sember
My path to midwifery started when I was pregnant with my first child in 2016. In order to prepare for birth, I did a lot of research and discovered the deep brokenness of our modern maternity care system. I desired autonomy and the chance to birth in a physiologic, spiritual way. As time went on and I had more children, the passion I had for childbirth only continued to grow.
In 2022, I began attending births as a support person. In May 2023, I began a bachelor’s program at Midwives College of Utah to become a certified professional midwife and started my clinical placements in December 2023. I am currently finishing my studies and am in the primary midwife under supervision role at Heartbeat Midwifery in Lubbock, TX. I plan to complete my degree and clinical requirements and earn my CPM by the end of 2026.
I believe that pregnancy and birth is a deeply natural and deeply spiritual life-changing journey. I believe in the wisdom of our bodies, informed consent, and shared decision-making. I consider it a deep honor to accompany families in the intimate transition that is the child-bearing year.
